Our school’s shared vision states that we will empower our scholars to be well-rounded, successful, productive and creative members of society. In order to accomplish this, we believe that student success is centered around three area of focus: competence, connectedness, and compassion. Compassion is modeled and taught through our positive behavior interventions and supports or SOAR expectations which provides a safer and supportive school for our scholars. Our students and families need to be connected to the school by becoming involved in our school activities and events. Lastly, our students need to show competence is all academic areas and through their artistic performance. At George, we focus on the whole child focusing on academics, behavior, and social emotional learning at all grade levels. Teachers are dedicated to our students and have high expectations for all learners.
At George, we are committed to providing our young scholars with a safe, respectful, and responsible environment for their academic, artistic, and social success. Our goal is to prepare our students to be 21st century learners through communication and collaboration. This will lead to future success for our students in career, college, and life.
At George, our scholars aim high and are soaring towards success!
